Miedzyladowanie na Mauritiusie/Transfer at Mauritius

Korzystajac z pieciogodzinnej przerwy przed lotem na Madagaskar, udalo sie nam zwiedzic kawalek Mauritiusa! Najpierw odwiedzilismy plantacje herbaty (byla zamknieta, bo zaczelismy zwiedzac o 6 rano:)).

Since we had a five-hour break before our flight to Madagascar we managed to visit a small part of Mauritius! First we saw a tea farm (it was closed because we it was only six am :)). The weather was London-like what you can see in the photos. Then we went to Grand Bassin, the most important place for hindu in Mauritius. Each year in February all the Hindu people from the island gather for a 15-day celebration of their religious holiday. Later on we visited Grand Port where French fought British for the dominance on Mauritius. In a local temple we were given some traditional food. At the of our trip we went to Blue Bay and saw a couple of monkeys and afterwards we went back to the airport from where we set off for Madagascar.
